PRINT & OUTDOOR

When it comes to print collateral, I've done it all — from brochures and rack cards to sell sheets and more. For example, I developed the concept and copy for this tri-fold brochure and worked with an in-house graphic designer to bring it to fruition. The brochure served multiple audiences, including community-based partners, healthcare providers, elected officials, and health plan members.

I write web content that's relevant to users and search engines, incorporating SEO best practices and content strategies that enhance search ranking for key phrases. That's a lot of fancy jargon for helping clients get the visibility and conversions they need. I've written and produced content for a wide variety of websites for nonprofits and corporate clients.

Making an impression in print or outdoor takes a sharp eye and an even sharper pencil. I've been on all sides of the process, as a writer, client, account manager, and even as a designer. My experience developing print ads, billboards, and transit includes this campaign. I developed concepts, wrote copy, and worked with a local agency and in-house designer to reach a variety of target audiences.

OP-ED DEVELOPMENT

When you only have 30-60 seconds to make your pitch, you have to get straight to the point. I've written compelling radio and TV spots for a variety of clients. This 60-second radio ad helped increase registration for a series of caregiver classes. Plus, I managed a six month integrated marketing campaign, helping the client meet registration goals and secure a second round of state funding.

Case studies are a great way to demonstrate your impact and make it real for your audience. For example, I conducted research, interviewed SMEs, and wrote content for dozens of technical yet succinct one-pagers for a healthcare consultancy. These became essential to the client’s marketing to C-suite decision makers. What started as a one-time project grew into an ongoing effort with dozens of case studies.

An op-ed in the opinion pages remains one of the most impactful gold standards in thought leadership and issue campaigns. I've collaborated with executives and subject matter experts to develop and place dozens of op-eds in print and digital media around the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
